Caravel Autism Health adds another Midwestern location
Caravel Autism Health has announced the addition of a new center in greater Duluth, Minnesota. The new location, set to open in December, is the ninth Caravel has opened in the state since 2019.
Caravel is a private equity-backed autism services provider based in the Midwest. It specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children with autism, with about 30 locations across Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.
The company was founded in 2009. Nine years later, in 2018, the company scored a strategic investment from Frazier Healthcare Partners, a Seattle-based PE and venture capital firm.
The provider’s newest center will be located in Hermantown, Minnesota. The new location will offer both diagnostic and applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment.

Imagine provides services in center-, home-, community- and school-based settings.
In 2019, Imagine became part of Caravel.
Imagine’s latest centers are slated to open in East Boise, Nampa and Meridian in the next couple months. The East Boise location will open first, in December, with the other two locations anticipated to launch in early 2021.
The news of the Idaho facilities comes less than a month after the provider announced the addition of a new center in the Seattle-Tacoma area.
