Caravel Autism Health expands into new state

Caravel Autism Health is adding its first location in the state of Iowa. The new autism therapy center is set to open in Davenport later this month. 

Backed by the private equity and venture capital firm Frazier Healthcare Partners, Caravel is a Midwestern autism services provider that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children with autism. It has approximately 30 centers across Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and, soon, Iowa. 

Once opened, the new Caravel location will offer autism diagnosis and personalized applied behavioral analysis (ABA) treatment to children in the Davenport area, in addition to service the rest of the Quad Cities.

Avenues Recovery Center adds ninth location

Avenues Recovery Center has opened a new location in Cambridge, Maryland.

Founded in 2016, Avenues is a substance use disorder (SUD) provider with nine locations nationwide. It offers community-based detox and residential SUD treatment, as well as partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient and sober living programs.

The new location, called Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore, is Avenues’ second facility in the state of Maryland. The 40,000-square-foot facility is located on nearly eight acres. It will focus on a 60-day treatment plan.

Compass Recovery opens in Massachusetts 

Massachusetts has a new SUD treatment center.

Compass Recovery opened in Agawam this month. The locally owned day treatment center offers in-person and virtual sessions. It specializes in partial hospitalisation and intensive outpatient programming, with the ultimate goal being to help people sustain long-term recovery.
