Banyan Treatment Centers opens first Texas location

Banyan Treatment Centers has opened its newest facility in Waelder, Texas.

Located in the southeastern part of the state, Banyan Texas is a 70-acre facility that provides drug and alcohol detoxification and residential addiction treatment services. The services are geared toward dual diagnosis patients struggling with addiction and mental health disorders. The facility also provides therapies for families in addition to patients.

Banyan Texas contains 20 fully furnished guest suites across four lodges. The facility is the 13th in Banyan’s portfolio and its first in Texas.

The Pompano Beach, Florida-based company is one of the largest privately-owned drug and alcohol and mental health addiction treatment centers in the U.S. It operates facilities in Pennsylvania, Florida, Massachusetts, Illinois and California.

Spero Health opens new facility in Ohio

Spero Health has opened the doors to its newest center, this one located in Findlay, Ohio.

The new facility in the northwest part of the state provides addiction treatment services through telehealth and in-person visits and accepts most commercial insurance plans. The center takes both appointments and walk-ins.

Spero Health is one of the nation’s largest office-based opioid treatment providers (OTPs) in the country, operating more than 45 facilities in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia. The operator is privately owned by Frist Cressey Ventures, Health Velocity Capital, the Heritage Group and South Central, Inc.

Sprout Health Group opens MAT program in New Jersey

Eatontown, New Jersey-based Sprout Health Group has opened a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program at its Endeavor House North facility in Kearny, New Jersey.

Located north of Newark, the facility will offer suboxone inductions, suboxone maintenance in conjunction with physician oversight and level of care evaluations for individuals being treated for substance use disorder (SUD).

Endeavor House North will also offer detox, day treatment, residential treatment, outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient treatment.

Sprout operates four facilities in New Jersey and California for mental health disorders, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

Caravel Autism Health expands footprint in Illinois

Caravel Autism Health is opening a new facility in Geneva, Illinois.

The center is scheduled to open in March and is currently taking appointments for children 2 and up in the Geneva/St. Charles/Batavia region outside of Chicago.

Caravel’s new facility offers a variety of services including applied behavioral analysis (ABA), which is considered by many in the autism treatment industry to be the gold standard of care.

Caravel — which is backed by the private equity and venture capital firm Frazier Healthcare Partners — operates a number of centers across Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota, and has plans to soon open its first facility in Iowa. Caravel’s Geneva location is its seventh in Illinois.

SaVida Health to grow presence in Vermont

Addiction treatment provider SaVida Health is opening a new facility in early March in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.

The center will provide MAT services for individuals with SUD. Services will include psychiatric medication management, medical care, counseling and case management. Individuals who might be experiencing food insecurity or homelessness will also be connected by the center’s case management services to resources in the area.

The center will accept most insurances including Medicare and Medicaid.

SaVida, which is backed by the PE firm Council Capital, operates 25 locations across Vermont, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts and Virginia. The St. Johnsbury location is SaVida’s eighth location in Vermont.
