SHN, a Behavioral Health Business sister publication, is hosting the annual awards contest — now in its 8th year — to celebrate cutting-edge design, architectural excellence and innovation in senior living and related property types, including a category for behavioral health.

Nominations are now open for this year’s competition. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to showcase your best work to an audience of senior housing and care executives, developers and investors from across the country, by submitting an entry.

Winners of the behavioral health category for the 2021 Senior Housing News Architecture & Design Awards will be recognized on Behavioral Health Business for improving quality of life and care for seniors through forward-thinking design using specific criteria you can find here.

Entries will be reviewed by a panel of experts in the fields of architecture, design and development.

Nominated projects must be constructed/renovated and completed between Jan. 1, 2020 and Oct. 1, 2021. The early bird entry fee for each submission sent by Sept. 30 is $450. Entry fees increase to $550 per submission on Oct. 1.

All nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. CST on Oct. 31, 2021. Winners will be announced in December on Senior Housing News.
