Community Psychiatry Management has made two acquisitions in the Los Angeles area to deepen its already massive footprint in the state of California.
The Sacramento, California-based mental health organization added both Calabasas Behavioral Health (CBH) and Gelbart and Associates in August.
Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Community Psychiatry Management is the largest outpatient mental health organization in California, with more than 40 offices and more than 100 clinical staff members across those locations, according to a press release announcing the news. The company partners with about 20 health insurers to provide in-network behavioral health services across the state.
Meanwhile, CBH provides psychiatry and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and Gelbart and Associates offers outpatient psychiatry and psychotherapy services.
The acquisitions allows Community Psychiatry Management to add six new outpatient offices, in addition to eight psychiatrists, 18 therapists, and six psychologists. New locations include Calabasas, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Torrance, Redondo Beach and Palos Verdes.
Community Psychiatry will offer TMS for depression and OCD in its Calabasas and Simi Valley office. In its other locations, the organization will provide bariatric support, school-based psychotherapy, employee assistance therapy programs, psychiatric and psychotherapy services.
