Beacon Behavioral Partners announced it will expand further into the Southeastern U.S. by acquiring nine new partner clinics.
Latticework Capital-backed Beacon Behavioral Partners is a network of psychiatric practices. It has locations in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas.
Beacon’s partnership model offers physicians equity ownership in the company and clinical autonomy. The network offers to handle all the back-end administrative operations for practices.
“We at Beacon are dedicated to building the best network for the best behavioral care possible, and we are immensely proud of the thriving Partner ecosystem we’ve been able to build over the past year,” Sean Wendell, CEO of Beacon Behavioral Partners, said in a statement. “Each of our partnered practices comprises the best physicians in their field, and we are committed to building an environment where they can continue to thrive, collaborate and evolve together.”
The new practices in Beacon’s network include Texas-based providers The Holiner Psychiatric Group, Prestige Clinic, The Grant Group and Memorial Park Psychiatry. It also includes two Mississippi-based providers: Precise Clinical Neuroscience Specialists and Right Track Medical Group, as well as Arkansas-based Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic and Louisiana-based Genesis Behavioral Health Services.
Beacon said it expects to double its growth in 2024 and continue to add new clinics to its network. The company landed an investment from Latticework Capital in 2021.
Beacon isn’t the only behavioral health network focused on expanding its network. Thurston-backed ARC Health is a group of mental health practices. Like Beacon, it promises to give clinicians autonomy over their day-to-day work and equity in the company.
