Monte Nido & Affiliates deepens New York footprint 

Monte Nido & Affiliates has opened a new residential eating disorder treatment program near Rochester, New York.

Monte Nido Western New York officially opened July 2. The residential program serves adults of all genders with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and exercise dependency, as well as co-occurring substance use disorder, trauma and psychiatric presentations.

Founded in 1996, Monte Nido & Affiliates operates 34 eating disorder treatment programs across 12 states. Its brands include Monte Nido, Rosewood, Oliver-Pyatt Centers and Clementine. The company is owned by Levine Leichtman Capital Partners.

Pinnacle expands in Pennsylvania

Pinnacle Treatment Centers has opened a new outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) treatment center in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The location is the provider’s 14th in the state.

The facility will provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD), as well as family counseling, relapse prevention and specialized prenatal programming, all using a trauma-informed approach.

Headquartered in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, Pinnacle provides the full range of MAT, with more than 115 locations across eight states. The company specializes in Medicaid-reimbursed MAT using methadone and is owned by the health care private equity firm Linden Capital Partners.

New psychiatry practice opens in North Carolina

A new mental health treatment practice has opened in Washington, North Carolina.

Called Carolina Psychiatry, the new practice will serve patients across the eastern part of the state. It will offer treatment for a number of mental health conditions and is now accepting online psychiatry appointment bookings.
