ABA Therapy Provider Trumpet Behavioral Health Names New CEO

Trumpet Behavioral Health, a multi-state provider of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services, has announced the appointment of Joshua Sleeper as its CEO.

Sleeper has been with Trumpet since 2006 and was most recently the president and COO of the Lakewood, Colorado-based provider.

Sleeper assumes Trumpet’s CEO post from Ned Carlson.

“Over the course of my time here, it has been a privilege to work with Trumpet’s clients, families, and dedicated employees,” Sleeper said in a press release issued by the company. “I am thrilled to step into this role and continue to drive our mission of providing patient-centered ABA therapy to the families we serve.”

Sleeper originally started his career as a therapist and board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), holding a variety of clinical and leadership positions along the way.

“Josh has been an exceptional leader at Trumpet for more than a decade and we are thrilled to welcome him as our CEO,” CJ Burnes, a board member at Trumpet, said in the release issued. “Given his background as an experienced BCBA, he is uniquely qualified to lead Trumpet in the next phase of its growth.”

Trumpet provides ABA services in centers, schools and homes across Colorado, Arizona, California, Kansas, Michigan, Ohio and Texas. The company operates 45 locations, employs over 1,100 team members and provides services to children, adolescents and adults.

Trumpet is a portfolio company of WindRose Health Investors.
